Easy to use and cleans your clothes well – I bought this 9 months ago for my apartment so I wouldn’t have to spend a lot of time and money at the laundry mat. Since I am the only one using it unless I need something specific washed right away I generally only use it when my basket is full and I can do a load of whites and a load or two of brights then darks. Mom should be proud of me because I am usually a weirdo and didn’t always separate my laundry before. Enough of that tangent. I can wash almost everything in my machine except my Queen fake down comforter or heavy blankets. I divide up the sheets in 2 separate loads. I run mine in the tub on top of the nonslip mat. When starting the spinner it sounds crazy when it’s coming up to full speed. I usually hold the handles on both sides for the few seconds it takes because it’s louder than. Just make sure you don’t overfill the washer side because too much or too many heavier items and it won’t rotate the clothing and they won’t get clean. If you’re washing something like flannel clothing you might have to adjust how much you put in the spinner because it’s heavier when wet. You’ll know if it’s too much because it’ll make a crazy sound after the spinner is going at full speed. Also even with using fabric softener your socks might be a little stiff after drying. Well if you wear crew socks they will. They feel just fine after putting them on. Idk why it’s the only item that is. Also I don’t put my bra in the spinner anymore. The quality of a lot of bras have gone down over the years unless you can afford really good ones. I have problems with the underwire poking out on the ends after some time and I figured better safer not to let it spin at high speeds. I just hang them in my tub to dry which usually doesn’t take much longer than if I spun them. The following is how I wash my clothing… So I do a load that’s modified from someone else’s review. Depending on how much time I have. I soak my clothes with a bit of laundry soap, a little oxi clean and a dash of fabric softener for between 10 minutes to over an hour if I throw it in before doing a grocery gig order. I like to run the washer Between 10-15 minutes depending on if I got dirty or in the summer because I sweat a lot sometimes. Then I spin the clothing for a minute. Throw back in washer let sit for 10 minutes then run for 9 minutes to rinse and then back in the spin dryer for 5 minutes. If it’s hangable hang up in closet with door open. I use my dog crate to dry out my undergarments. They dry pretty quickly. I always wait over 10 minutes between loads so I don’t over work the motor.

A perfect machine with tips and tricks – Absolutely LOVE my washer! Of course I read all the reviews of any product I’m looking to purchase and I found almost all negative reviews of this washer were about the fill and drain process. In my case there was only one way I could use this washer so i knew the issues that others had experienced were not going to be an issue for me. I live in a house built in 1921 that was converted into 2 apartments with mine being on the 2nd floor so its limited on space and no washer dryer hookup. But one of the beauties of my apartment is the cast iron clawfoot tub and huge linen closet in my bathroom. The washer fits beautifully in the bottom half of my linen closet (took out a nonessential shelf) and is so lightweight than I can lift it easily into my tub (I have horrible arthritis in my hands). I also have a handheld shower head which makes it so easy to fill so I dont have to mess with hose connections to faucets and since clawfoot tubs slope the tiniest bit there is no problem with draining. I just plop the showerhead into the washer to fill and unhook the connected drain tube from the side of the washer to drain and it drains completely.
