Looks good! – This ventilation hood was just about our last resort to replacing our old vent hood. It came very quickly and was packaged well. The installation was fairly easy, we just had an issue with where the original power wiring came through the cabinet. We could not change the path of the wire and had to drill a new access into the new vent hood. It is not as quiet as we would like but much better than our old one. I would recommend this product.

Good value , Style , but disappointed – I like the easy installation set up, value for the money and a slim design from my previous one. I’m very disappointed that the light and the fan don’t turn on. I attach a photo with the switch on and nothing happen. I can’t believe that this happen to a new unit. My old unit for more than 20 years still work but I just wanted to update my kitchen. So I’m very disappointed.

Very easy to install – I read the reviews about this hood fan and I couldn’t understand what people were knocking it for because a very nice unit I’ve remodeled a few kitchens and for the money in the quality in the cfms you can’t buy this on the market nowhere really nice fan grates it’s a nice unit I’m very happy with it quiet light works good

needs to exhaust outside – Hood works perfectly, looks good and is reasonably quiet. I opted for the round 7″ piping to duct the unit out through the roof! I had a new roof installed this spring and had the roofers install a dampened vent knowing that I was going to install a new hood that actually removed cooking fumes from the kitchen. Due to the unusual location ,I had to run 12′ of ducting but it was worth it. Plan ahead

Does not come with all needed parts for round duct installation. Poor quality, overall. – This range hood looks great. Installation was a problem because it did not come with a round damper! Had to drive a long way, in this rural area, to find one. This part is not carried by home centers. Got tired of being told “range hoods all come with a damper”. Finally had to go to an A/C fabrication shop to get a damper. My installer was left cooling his heels for hours, waiting. The boasted, single person installation hardware was cumbersome at best and was not used. Fan box is off to one side. This causes the air flow to only go up half of the two filters. Quite loud at high speed, the fan “squirrel cage” is badly out of round and contributing to the noise at high speed. Lights are dim, but barely adequate. Quality inside the unit is low, buttons are clunky, but unit looks good installed. Could have bought a much cheaper range hood with the same or better results. The non-vented option is well hidden and this range hood has pleasing lines. Glad there are no labels visible on the installed unit. I’ll spend a lot more on my next range hood to try getting a little more quality, next time. Meanwhile, this will do the job. All I can say is that it looks nice.

the range hood had 1 fan grease/smoke filter that part of the mesh was not in the metal frame. – one of my grease fan filters was not in the metal frame. I had to use a wide putty knife to push the mesh into the frame so it was usable. not bad enough to return the whole unit so I kept it. The shipping box was not damaged so I figured it came from warehouse that way.
