Perfect for my needs – I wanted a small freezer for a small space and this one perfectly fits my needs. Yes, it does build up frost, like all these small units and it begins immediately. But the tradeoff is you don’t have a noisy frost free fan, so you’ll have to clean it once/month or so. A scraper is included. The temp control wheel is in the rear next to the motor–awkward–but once it is set you can forget it. Besides the great performance, though, the best things about it are its quiet motor and small power usage. The motor is barely noticeable and I believe it only consumes 44W of power or about 2 bucks per month of electricity. There are 3 shelves and it can hold a lot…maybe a little overkill for me, haha, but I love it.

Good Little Freezer – Bought as “Used – Like New” from Amazon Warehouse. Packaging was a little beat up as Amazon noted it would be but the 2.1 cu ft freezer had no damage except for a very small scuff toward the back corner of the top. Was also missing the key for the lock but didn’t need it anyway. Set it up and let it run overnight and water was turned to solid ice. Used mainly to store ice cream and ice cream treats which it keeps nicely frozen. Runs very quite.

Surprisingly large freezer holds a lot, yet small enough for apartment – I am very happy with this freezer. I recently moved from a house to and apartment. The small freezer compartment in the refrigerator just wasn’t sufficient. Recently single, I buy frozen entrees and still like to cook in batches and make freezer jam. When I bake bread I like to make enough for a couple of weeks. This was on sale for $200 and the brand is the same as an excellent portable air conditioner I’ve had for a few years. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Really Nice Freezer, Quiet, Gets Cold Quickly, & Well Packed – I bought this as a backup (for my basement) to my new main kitchen refrigerator/freezer, as my last one failed abruptly. I have another small refrigerator + freezer in the basemewnt as well, which unfortunately has a pretty small freezer. This Whynter looks good and got down to temperature very quickly, and it’s quiet. I was REALLY impressed with how Whynter packaged it. My other small refrig/freezer arrived with a couple of large dents and the box fell apart when I opened it (I bought from a big box store and had it delivered). This Whynter unit arrived in a sturdy box banded with plastic straps. I cut the straps and the box lifted off the base. However, underneath was a second Whynter boix, also banded to its base. I cut the straps and lifted the box off of that, and the appliance was packed with some styrofoam and plastic pads, and all loose parts were secured with tape. Really appreciate the extra affort they took to secure this, as I usually hesitate from ordering appliances online, because they tend to get dented often in shipping. Very pleased with this item, how it arrived, and how it performs.

Convenient Compact Freezer for Hybrid Work – Our company renovated all 3 floors right as Covid happened and we returned to the office in early 2022. The 2 freezers which were ordered back in 2020 are still on backorder which left us with only refrigerators. Arrived damaged two times. but good unit – Overall I like this unit. It is nice looking, compact, and provides even cooling. It was a little frustrating to find shipping damage twice. The first one had to be returned because of substantial damage to the frame near the compressor. The replacement unit arrived with a buckle in the upper rear corner. Amazon made a price adjustment that we could live with and I give Amazon credit for responsive customer service.
