High quality gas cooktop – This is such a high quality gas cooking top. It has a beautiful look and design. With 5 burners it provides so much cooking space to suit my needs a d with my large family of 6 it is very convenient. It has both gas and propane hookup which is perfect. We use this on our back patio and it is awesome.

It’s hard to keep clean. – There are more burners but not more space. 30″ is 30″. You can’t use all the burners at the same time unless you only use small pots or pans. It is shiny and shows all dripped grease and food crumbs. The timer is useless to me and just another knob to clean. Also, the picture of the stove is shown with the griddle on in the ad and on the box. It did not come with the griddle nor could I find a place to order the one shown.

Great quality for the price – I gave this cooktop a 4-star rating because it is a great stovetop for this price range. However, it does have some limitations. 1) When turning the knobs to ignite, the flames come on immediately and spread out beyond the edge of the pot/pan, but when I release the knob, the flame goes out. I learned I have to hold the knob on a second or two longer to keep the flame from going out. 2) The flames are powerful, which is great, but they startle me when they first ignite, and I would let go of the knob and pull my hand away, as a reflex. I had to train myself to keep my hand there in order to keep the flame from going out. 3) When using a double-burner griddle, the pan is so close to the knob, it’s very hard to adjust the flame without burning your hand on the hot pan. The knobs should be placed a little farther away from the heat source.
