      Fine for the price except the lighting is an issue for me – Even though I only gave this 3 stars, I will say they have great customer service! The unit arrived with scratches on the sleeve part and without hesitation they sent a replacement without me even getting around to sending pictures to them. The reason I am giving it 3 stars is because the light is located at the back of the hood so when installed it basically lights up the wall. It’s not good for lighting up the actual stove top. I can’t quite figure why the light would be placed there. We are in the middle of a remodel so we had the unit for a couple weeks before we installed and unfortunately were past the window for returning so we are probably going to see if we can sell it to someone. We ended up buying a more expensive hood that has lights that will actually light up the stove top. I will say however, the vent is quiet and seems to work adequately for the average cook.
