STURDY works great – Very sturdy durable tap-spikket for soda syrup that comes in 3 or 5 gallon bag/boxes. It is hard to put on and off but that is needed to make it sturdy and durable!

Great product of you use BIB with a SodaStream. – This has been a great purchase. I’ve not had any leaks with it. It will drip slightly after use but that’s just syrup which is past the valve. I just tap the excess into the bottle once I close the valve.

Works great – Well made, but no instructions. Center piece (gray) has to be pulled up to get the tap to clear the collar.

Perfect for Sunkist BIB Syrup – Fit perfectly for BIB Soda Syrup (to transfer to bottle for use with SodaStream)!

Works – had to look up how to install (did not realize it needed 2 clicks before putting it on) but over all it works. is a bit slow to pour.

SyrupSupply Bib Qcd Tap Valve for General Bag in Box – Bought this for Narvon soda syrup since other 2 taps would not work. No directions for installing but like another reviewer said YouTube to the reescue. After following the video it was easy and has worked but yes its a trickle flow which has been better for me. I have 2 32 oz. glass pitches i fill with syrup and store in the fridge and since holding the pitcher in one hand slower flow gives me time to close the valve before over flowing. The box site upright until needed then place it flat on the table to fill pitcher with no sign of dripping so if you are using bib and need this kind of connector don’t be afraid it will work.

Does what it is supposed to do, but It pours very slowly – Since my supplier of soda syrup changed the internal bags, I had to get this style of tap valve. It is slower than the older direct line tap valves that could be used for the older style inner bags.

Worked with the Narvon generic cola 5Gallon size box. – Yes I know some folks insist this does not work. PLEASE visit Youtube for HOW TO’s. I watched two different ones and it made all the difference in the world to succeed. Following are important TIPS that might be what you need to succeed too. 1) On the non faucet end is a cylinder of sorts with a rounded tip. That tip is meant to bunt up and fit into the opening of the carton’s receptical. 2) Make sure it clicks not once but two times when pushing this cylinder ALL the way upwards so it’s flush with the bottom of the bottom of the grey attachement. 3) Place the grey attachment around the last ridge of the box so it’s firmly in place. I mean firmly if you put the rung one up from this spot you’ll have leaking. 4) Once you are sure the grey attachment and the box opening is in position you need to reverse the cylinder rod back down and you need to make sure it makes two clicks. Click one then the second may be more difficult or need more force. This insures the rounded end of the clyinder makes solid contact and acts like a seal to the opening in the box. Better still GO WATCH the video and make sure you grasp three things. The clicking TWICE to pull up the cylinder. The Right postion of the grey end to the box opening and proper rung for tight fit and Then the reverse pushing the cylinder back down into place listening and feeling for TWO CLICKS. The top of the grey end and the cylinder should be EVEN with no cylinder sticking up even in the slightest. I did have a wee amount of leakage & a damp paper towel worked great as I’d been prepared. I also turn the faucet end pointing up and store the box upright between filling my Smaller bottles for syrup to use with my now over 12 year old Soda Club machine. When I need to refill I just lean the box on to it’s side turn the faucet down and fill. And then put right back up right again. You might want to keep a plastic bag over the end if you haven’t a really clean area during non use periods to keep it clean. For example we rarely drink soda of any kind during winter months so we’d want to make sure the faucet part of the bib stayed clean year round. PS I don’t like the taste of Narvon cola syrup so will be trying others after this one is gone but price wise it’s great. But taste counts too. Good luck everyone. Oh yes one star could come off because page states you will get instructions and none were included.
