FINALLY, a Vacuum Product I LIKE!! – It’s a little hard to review just this product, Swiffer Sweeper-Vac Replacement Filters, without reviewing the Swiffer Sweeper-Vac itself. I mean, how can you use the filters without the product?! For too many years, I never understood the charm of bagless vacuums, thinking that when you went to empty them, you’d end up with a cloud of dust in your face. And that may be the case with other vacuums – but not with this one. These nifty little filters trap all the dust that the Swiffer Sweeper cloths don’t pick up – and there’s a surprising amount of it – and meanwhile, keep the grit and other floor dirt from clogging up the vacuum itself. Because the waste compartment is so small, there just isn’t a lot of dirt to empty, and what there is – you don’t come into contact with. To empty the canister, you pop it out of its place on the vacuum, then pull the little ring in the middle of the filter, dispose of the filter in the trash and empty the canister, then just pop in another filter – it’s simplicity itself to refill – put the canister back into the vacuum, and you’re ready to rock.

Bulk buying filters Makes vacuum a Jewel Tool – We enjoy the swiffer sweeper vacuum (efficiency & weight) so much we don’t mind (too much) replacing it every 12-18 months. The consumer price seems to have remained somewhat stable over our 6+ years of use in 3 homes. As to the FILTERS, we only buy in bulk. Depending (usually moisture) of debris, we likely brush & re-use the filter up to 3x. (Sshhh, don’t share with Swiffer- but bulk buying filters, enables us to not mind replacing the vacuum annually)
