Love the ice, but still have NO clue how to run the machine! – This ice maker makes Perfect ice!!! The instructions, however…. well good luck. They have been translated into english, and not well! It has been a total guessing game on how to run it. I use it in my salon, and the reason i got this specific unit, is because you can store ice for a while and it’ll keep. also, you can put the maker on stand by and it will shut down and quit making ice. BUT good luck trying to figure out how to get those features to work. Its been a total guessing game. Are we in stand by mode??? is the power off? Who knows!? I even got on You tube and found a video, that just wasnt much help at all. Overall, I would say its a great unit, but its been trial by fire for us to get it right.

It is a work horse for the price. The unit is loud. You will hear when it’s working. The sound didn’t bother me because it was a necessity during the remodel. We will transition it to the outside covered bar area this summer. I would recommend this unit based on price and the amount of ice it puts out.
