Better Quality at Lower Price than OEM Part – My Whirlpool Sidekick all freezer is only a little over a year old and I noticed that it was running way more than it did a few months ago and keeping the freezer at -10F to -15F, way too cold. I had to heat ice cream in the microwave to be able to scoop it! I just replaced the temperature sensor with this non-OEM unit at a small fraction of the cost of the OEM unit and the freezer is now staying between 0F and -5F, just right, and only running now and then. I think this part is better quality than the OEM part because the sensor is embedded in a metal tube instead of plastic. I’ll monitor things and update this review if anything changes.
