For carpet, not hard floor – First hand experience from using at work, now on Amazon wanting to find one. They’re great for carpeted areas and will pick up small reasonable things. Good with picking up rock salt, small pebbles; reasonable pickup for a carpet push sweeper. The easy access of the waste compartment is what helped me come looking for one.

Disappointed…. – I was very disappointed in the Scotch Brite floor sweeper. I have hard wood floors and cats so I wanted something that would pick up the hair off the floor. No luck. It wouldn’t pick anything up. Now I have a worthless sweeper that I paid too much for.
