Works, but not strong – I purchased these locks to try to keep my adult autistic son out of our garage refrigerator. It worked temporarily until he figured out how to bend the lock and snap off the key inside. He did this three times, so we had to switch to a heavy duty U lock. This would work for smaller/weaker children, but definitely not keep adults out.
