Does the job. – Its a roof cap….functioned as advertised. However while installing it the screen that was pop riveted came off with some rough handling on the part of the installer.

dont buy,horrible quality control – No quality control, wish to give the manufacture a negative star . There are 2 extra rivets where they don’t belong and cause damage to cap. The four sides of the base all bent, the back flow preventer not close properly, the bug screen not connect properly. It was ship inside two boxes, no damage to either box. So damage was originated from the manufacture.

Just what I needed – My new rangehood has a 7″ Diameter vent and none of the local outlets had a 7″ diameter roof vent available. Went to Amazon, did a quick search and Bingo! They it was. Good quality and good price.
