Pick the right pad – This us not for stripping the floor just super dirty situations. Cleans great! If you got to strip the floor use black ones.

Used to strip polish from prefinished, engineered hardwood with great results. – I used this with my Oreck Orbiter Floor Machine to remove a polish from my engineered prefinished hardwood floors. This type of flooring doesn’t require polishing or waxing and it’s not recommended, but a family member (my wife’s aunt) thought she was being helpful when she purchased and applied a polish to our hardwood floor for us. It didn’t take long before it started looking terrible.

A GOOD LITE DUTY PAD USED TO FRESHEN UP BUT NOT DEEP CLEAN TIRED TILE AND WOOD FLOORS! – You use this pad for lite cleaning of stone and or wood floors. This is not the pad to use with you have heavily stained, floors with scuff marks and goodness knows what adhering to an otherwise awesome stone floor. This is the pad you use for those areas of your home or business stone floor that gets the most traffic. This is the pad you use when it is NOT your goal to do a deep cleaning but you do want to freshen up the look of tired stone floors.
