Was surprised they replaced! – I purchased this Wine Cooler and it worked well for a while. Then it stopped getting cold and actually increased the temperature. We finally contacted the Nutrichef company and after a few emails explaining and showing the problem they sent us a replacement! Now we have cold wine again! We are .

Looks nice, quite, but light not working – After spending two days trying to get someone from the company via phone, and amazons text chat was a joke (they told me to screw in the LED to get it to work, but the LED is on a circuit board…), I finally did speak with the company and they simply said they will “email me” to teach me how to turn the light on. She was nice, but not BLT took my info then let me go with email details promised to me today.

Second time may be the charm – I ordered model PKCWC15 which apparently had a defective panel (according to NutriChef customer service). I was instructed to return the defective cooler through Amazon and order a replacement. The replacement process was efficient. Repackaging the old unit and taking the 50 lb box to UPS was a bit of a challenge but doable. A new cooler is now installed with no problems and am hoping it stays that way. The second unit is much quieter than the first unit. No problems with the panel showing the cooler temperature.

It runs extremely quietly, with only a slight click if the compressor comes on. All shapes of 750ml seem to fit without issue, including taller Riesling. The set temperature appears to be holding steady, the cabinet is sleek and sturdy. Getting the screws to fit into the door & handle, was a challenge, but we managed. Not sure if the auto-lock actually is working, because we really don’t want it, so at the moment, do not consider it a problem. Bottom line, we are very pleased with this wine cooler, I did a lot of research before selecting it, and it appears to be exactly what we wanted.

Nice addition to our ready wine storage – This item was delivered today. Unboxing was easy, initial impression was good. On installing the handle on the door, I discovered the supplied screws are far too short to screw into the handle. The end of the screw barely protrudes from the front face of the door. Finding longer screws isn’t that big of a problem, but the manufacturer is quite deficient in not supplying the correct hardware. Aside from the screw problem, I am quite satisfied with this wine cooler, especially the ability to get significantly cooler than thermoelectric units.
