Works – I posted the instructions because that is what I was looking for, but couldn’t find them anywhere including on the vendor’s website. I have a 3″ pipe and was wondering how much opening I needed. Contrary to the documentation (states a 5.5″ opening), for 3″ applications, you can use the existing opening…mine was 4″. I used an oscillating/multi-tool to cut off the 5″ collar(leaving the 3″ collar)…works great.

Great Item, but somewhat overpriced – I give this four star because I like the look and fit. However, I wouldn;t give it a 5 star because it is should be a lot less expensive

Over priced but fit the bill – Deducted one star for the price. For a cheap piece of plastic I would expect this to be 1/2 the cost I had to pay, that what happens when you have the market cornered as there are not a lot of options for this application. I wouldn’t expect it to last long in the direct sunlight and elements due to the thin material.

More subtle than a 4″ vent pipe. – I used this to replace a 4″ pipe sticking about 2 feet out of the house. This was certainly an aesthetic improvement.

Five Stars – Perfectly replaced a previously bad PVC sticking out of my house. This looks SOOO much better now.

Clean looks – This is a much preferred look as opposed to the 90 degree elbow the plumber used. Fairly simple install, if you don’t have to chip away some brick to get it to fully seat. The fins are a little flimsy, as would be expected from thin PVC. Overall, I am more than happy with the looks and install
