I love the idea! – Unfortunately, this did not work well for what I was hoping to do. I wanted to raise my washer and dryer off the floor and have an easy way to move them around. Due to the heaviness of the appliances and the length of the bars, I wasn’t able to get a good enough grip to make this happen. It took a couple of us, and after trying a few different ways, we didn’t want to risk the chance of breaking the product…or our fingers. So I sent it back.

OKAY – I bought it as a base for my refrigerator but it’s not wide enough for a full size fridge! I can use it for something else!

Flimsy at best, dangerous at worst (crushing risk) – Simply, just too weak construction. Thin plastic, tiny wheels and just too small for a normal refrigerator. When you see the box it comes in, you already know you made a poor decision. Even my small freezer was too much for it. Far too dangerous to use as it wasn’t stable, and we became concerned when we tried to open the door … it was obvious you’d literally pull it over on top of you. That is, if the weight of the freezer didn’t crush it at some point and it fall over (hopefully) unattended. Might work on something like a three-foot tall dorm frig, but that’s about it.

Not for the big toys!! – Not as sturdy or large as I would have liked but it does work…the description makes it seem as if it is larger/more adjustable than it really is.

Goes together well. – This rolling base is very lightweight and while there are metal tubes between the plastic corners they are also very light weight. I don’t think that’s a bad thing because they’re just as tough as the plastic.

Incredibly handy roller – I love this design; being able to expand or contract this to fit the job is so helpful. Already used it for moving a fridge around as well as for replacing our dryer. Worked great in both cases; supported the weight no problem and made moving these monsters much easier.

Good for moving smaller lighter appliances – This comes with a reversible phillips and flat blade screw driver as well as a 45″ measuring ribbon. You do not need a flat blade screwdriver for this installation, and while you can do the installation with the included small screw driver it should be a last resort using it. Using a larger ratchetting screw driver, or power driver makes this so much faster and simpler. The basic installation is fairly simple, but then you need to fine tune the installation. You can use a regular tape measure or the included measuring ribbon to measure the distance between the legs/corners under your appliance. This barely expands enough to fit my washing machine and keep the bases stable and secure. After getting the frame set to the right distance and locked in, it is much easier to level the base where you want the appliance to go first without the appliance there (in comparison to putting the appliance on the base, moving it into place then trying to level it.) Once you got the base fairly level where you want it to go, you can bring the base back to your appliance, lift it onto the base and then roll it into place.
