One of the best gifts I’ve ever purchased for myself – One of the best gifts I’ve ever purchased for myself!! I bought two, one for the living room side table and one for the bedroom night table. I am not a wine drinker, I drink Perrier in the plastic 16.9 ounce bottles. I like my Perrier ice cold but I do not care for the way ice cubes dilute it so I bought this and I have no more waste of my Perrier. I don’t have to throw it out when it’s too watered down and I don’t have to buy the little cans so that I don’t waste anything as the bottles are perfect for opening, use as needed and toss out when empty. They stay sparkling bubbly and perfectly cold in this chiller to the very end. Love it!

Not the most efficient way to cool down a bottle – Need a cooler bottle of wine? Stick it in the freezer or if you’re really motivated, pour a cup of salt into a small bucket of ice water. That works. This device does too but VERY slowly. When you want cold rosé, you want it now!

Very Convenient! – I usually place a bottle of wine in the refrigerator the morning of the day I intend to serve it or end up ruining my wine by adding a few ice cubes. With the MC Wine Chiller I don’t need to pre-plan or add ice. My wine is chilled and ready when I’m ready.

Cooler won’t chill room temperature wine – I carefully read the product description before purchasing this product. I was led to believe that it will chill a bottle of room temperature wine to a desired temperature. It will not. After opening the box, the care and operation instructions state that this chiller will only maintain the temperature of a bottle of wine or beverage, if the bottle of beverage has already been cooled prior to using this chiller. I was looking for a product that would rapidly chill a bottle of wine. This will not do that. I am returning the product.

Works great, a little noisy – This is not meant to take a warm bottle of wine and cool it rapidly. It works great for keeping a bottle at celler temperture after you’ve taken it from the celler and opened it. I’d give it five stars but it is a little noisy if everything else in the room is quiet.
