Problematic bottom zone. Fair – [Update: Downgrading to two stars after I discovered the unit does not remember your temperature settings in the event of even the briefest power outage or power disruption. Upon power restoration it defaults both zones to 54 F.] Unacceptable. I was in need of a countertop dual zone wine fridge and this Maisee 12 bottle fridge was the only one I could find so I tried it out. PROS: Well packaged. Elegant look. Easy controls. Fits under the cabinet; the specs in the description are accurate. Relatively quiet like a small fan. Lightweight. Good value for the money. CONS: I couldn’t get below 54 degrees on the bottom zone where my whites were. So I switched the whites to the top to achieve the desired 46 degrees. Took over 24 hours to reach desired temperature even in a cool air-conditioned home. The switch for the interior light is on the inside, requiring one to open the door and let the cool air out to turn it on. Can be a slightly tight fit with some shapes of bottles.

Unfortunately less than 60 days later I noticed the temperature got colder. I was unable to set the temperature that the device would accept. The temperature stayed consistently colder. I wrote to the seller and they decided to replace the wine cooler. I am more than satisfied with their quick response and fulfillment. I do suggest that you purchase a surge protector when purchasing this product just in case my issue was related to a power outage days prior to detecting this issue.

Top and Bottom not isolated from each other. – The top and bottom compartments are not thermally isolated from each other. There’s about a 1 inch gap between the middle shelf and the door glass allowing air to flow freely between the 2 chambers. There are also other little gaps/cracks between the upper and lower chambers that allow air flow. The end result is that if you set different temperatures for the 2 chambers then 1 of the cooling units will ALWAYS be on. What a waste of electricity. I had to spend a couple of hours using foam and clay to seal up the 2 chambers.
