fast ice – It makes ice super fast. But it is extremely loud. The ice cubes are hollow bullet shaped and when they are dropped, very wet. We find that we need to store them in the freezer so they adequately solidify. But volume, speed and convenience plus a decent price makes this a great buy. Just put it in a different room

It starts making ice fast! – I bought this because my apartment fridge does not have a ice maker. It makes ice pretty fast, but because it is melting as it is made when it refreezes the ice sticks together. That is not the fault of the ice maker though. I still LOVE this thing it works great!
