Better than expected – Mini fridges have always been a bit of a disappointment compared to “real” refrigerators, but I wanted to give this one a chance because it’s from Honeywell. Was impressed with the packaging as they made it pretty simple to unbox. Setting up didn’t take too long and the freezer is definitely better than the terrible freezer bins because it’s like a real fridge’s. We all know that the freezer compartments in mini fridges are annoying because they develop ice and you eventually will have to defrost it. So this is definitely nice to have in my office because I can finally bring ice cream and make ice there. It does seem pricey, but if you want a mini fridge with an actual separate freezer compartment, this is a good choice.

Works well. – My husband keeps this refrigerator in his room at work. It helps keep his things more private, so it’s less likely other people are eating his food or getting germs in it. It’s worked well for him, and it does keep his food cold. He especially loves that it has a freezer. (It even comes with a mini ice cube tray.) The freezer opens up a lot more food options for him. The can rack in the door is also convenient. It’s nicely organized to get great use out of a small space. He’s been quite happy with it.

It works. – After having looked at a ton of mini fridges to send with my daughter to her new dorm, it seems like they are likely built by a small handful of OEMs. The insides and temp regulators look all the same. So what sets this fridge apart?

Love the separate freezer compartment – We’ve had several mini fridges out in our garage to hold food overflow and drinks/snacks for my husband while he’s out there working on different projects, and this is both of our favorites yet. The freezer is an actual freezer as opposed to a little icebox like we’ve had before and it’s really convenient for times that our freezer is full and then I find something on a huge sale, or for my husband to actually keep ice for his drinks on hand.
