They need to find out what model GE this is compatible – I bought this for a GE refrigerator and it says it’s compatible, when install the compressor took very long to start, when it did it was humming loud. Have a frigidere which also needed a start relay and run capacitor so I tried it and it works flawlessly

Fit perfectly – The original capacitor may have been the cause of the mother board failing. After replacing the mother board I noticed the refrigerator kept running and didn’t shut off. So I bought a new capacitor and relay, I would recommend replacing the relay and capacitor if you are replacing the mother board.
