Makes a little ice with a very loud noise. – Worked ok for a week. It makes ice very slowly and stays in defrost mode a good portion of the day. After a couple of weeks it started making a horrible whining, grinding sound that won’t stop until you turn it off and unplug it and even then takes a while for the noise to stop. It smells like something is burning or melting. It will work ok for a couple of days and then the loud noise is back. It’s not worth the money for the amount of ice it actually makes and the horrible noise it makes. It’s really disappointing.

You did not know what you are missing! – I have had mine for over 5 years, since they launched on Kickstarter. I love my nugget ice maker and it is a great conversation starter when you have friends of visitors over. My only recommendation is take the time and clean it but before it stops because of water calcification, etc..

Best ice!! Must have – The set up process took me awhile because it kept saying “add water” when it was full. I ended up taking a new toothbrush and cleaning off the waterline sensor and it worked after that! Besides that I’ve had no issues and it has been working great. It’s also not super loud!
