Love It! – This was exactly what we wanted. Pretty easy to install; had to adjust the metal flex cable to it was pointing to the right side for a better fit; but no issue. One of the Thinnest on the market; top to bottom! And we bought some 1/4″ weather stripping to put under the edge; between the glass surface and the quartz countertop; the previous cooktop had one, as did all the display models in the stores.

Screw assy problem – 36″ cooktop replaced 22-year-old unit. Love the controls — nice and bright. User friendly. Seems like it does not clean as well as our old Amana unit but probably expecting too much. The reason for not giving it 5 stars is that the box assembly to the top was terrible. Screw heads were too small or else the bracket slots were too big. See attached photo. Fortunately, the instructions reminded to check for tightness. Wow, of the 11 screws — most as a pending problem — we replaced 7 (or 8) with a better shoulder type screw before installing unit. That was essential.
