Surpasses my expectations – This cooktop is reinforced and has two sturdy brackets that you install to support the cooktop. the overlapping edge is metal until 1/8″ from edge – then it is ceramic-glass. But the point is that the cooktop overlap is metal under the glass and the metal supports the glass top. The entire unit is supported by it’s metal underside on the countertop not glass-ceramic top on the countertop.

Easy Installation – Took the cooktop out of the box and it dropped right in to our existing opening. I added the included metal braces, wired it up and it worked perfectly.

Great Value – Ordered the all glass version in March to replace the one we cracked accidentally. It came cracked. Received refund. Held on ordering again out of fear. Couldn’t swallow that Lowes or Home Depot charged $100-200 for the same product so reordered, but ordered the one with the stainless steel edge. It arrived quickly. Packaging on this one was much better. The cooktop had Styrofoam ends and metal braces to keep it from moving. And the box was packed in another box. The original one we ordered was haphazardly packed. Very easy to install right where my damaged one came out. So far so good and very happy with this transaction.

Perfect size for what I needed. Low profile. Nice & updated design. – Needed to replace an older electric stovetop that no longer worked. Was not sure how I felt about buying expensive appliances online but took a chance because this one was much more affordable than one you would get at a big box hardware store. The stovetop came in fine, nothing broken or bent, and it was a perfect drop-in fit. Of course make sure you measure measure measure first! The electric install part was fairly easy too. Of course once again, make sure to turn off your breaker for the stove area.

Very nice stovetop and easy to install – We had an orginal 1989 stainless steel cooktop with coil heating elements, that just fried one of it’s resistors. Now, that was well made. Any bets this one doesn’t last that long? It took me more time to get the old one out then to install and wire the new one. Looks and works great. The quality and codition was more than statiusfactory for me and most improtant, my wife is happy for the moment. Lol
