It does make ice….but – It’s great but be aware that when you empty the ice into freezer to store, it freezes into a block. I use an ice pick. Also if you have a big freezer get a bigger ice container.

Cute ice cubes – We have a water filtration system in our sink so I was super excited to be able to filter our water and poured into it. One thing I wasn’t expecting is that it does not refrigerate so it is not to be considered a freezer. You must pour the ice cubes into your freezer to keep them. But it is worth it in the end. We love it

Does what it says – Makes ice. Good deal for the price. Kinda slow but it beats ice cube trays! I use it probably 2 times a week and fill up 2 medium size plastic bins for daily ice water. Drain plug on the bottom is handy for draining right into the sink when you’re finished making ice. If you leave the water sit in it, it gets a smell.. if you’re looking for an ice maker for big events or like to entertain, get a bigger, better, more expensive type as you won’t get the ice production out of this one quickly.

Works quickly and well, plenty of ice now. – Our garage freezer died a while ago, and we didn’t have the money to get a whole new freezer just to make some ice. This did the trick great. If there is one downside to it, it’s just that it doesn’t stay really cold inside of the compartment, so the ice tends to sit in the basket where it comes out and gets a little bit drippy. We have to put it in a plastic bag and put it in the inside freezer to get it back fully solid, then break it up to use it. It makes plenty of ice, only takes a few minutes, maybe ten minutes, to get a batch of nine little bullet-shaped cubes out. Well worth the money.
