Perfect prop!!! – Theses are perfect for a chimney sweep prop!!! The quality is just fine for what I need! Hard to spread out plastic brissels but I’ll try to hear them up with a hairdryer! It’s nice that they are long enough for the dancers!!

Must Ruffle up Bristles – Once you ruffle up the bristles it looks quite nice for a costume prop. when it ships the bristles are neatly together and it does not look good – but just use your hand at the base of the them and you can nicely furrow them as show in the picture.

Good costume prop – I felt I had to write a review about this costume prop sweeper. I ordered this with crossed fingers because I read all the negative comments. The sweeper isn’t as full as picture shown, but it it perfectly fine as a costume prop. I either lucked out and received a good one, or I don’t know what people were expecting from this type of item. If you want a very light weight costume sweeper for a chimney sweep costume, I would give this a try. I figured if it was horrible, I could always glue other brush things on the top, but it doen’t need any adjustments.

Disappointed in product upon delivery – When it was delivered one side of the sweep was going on one direction and the other side in the opposite direction. It was purchased for my daughter to use as a prop in her school talent show so I was disappointed with how it arrived and had to spend considerable time bending and reshaping the bristles.

Cheaply made but works as a prop. It looks better if you take a few minutes to spread the bristles. – I needed a chimney sweep broom for a Mary Poppins / Bert costume and this fit the bill. I’ll admit I was a bit skeptical at first given the numerous negative reviews but I had seen another review that mentioned they were able to spread out the bristles to make it look more full/realistic, so I took a chance. Faced with the prospect of having to make my own with pipe cleaners and a glue gun, I”m glad I did. Mine arrived just like the others, but I used a hair dryer to heat it up and spread the bristles and I think it looks greats now and only took a few minutes of my time. It is cheaply made but for Halloween costume purposes, it’ll be just fine. Photo shows before/after (I purchased two).

Horrible packing – This is a plastic accessory. I understand that but as you can see from the pictures, the bristles are supposed to be in the round. When I got it, they literally put the head of the brush (comes in 3 pieces) in a rectangle bag. So they had to fold the bristles. This is the dumbest part. The box it came in would have fit the whole head with the bristles in the round. Total waste of space and time for me. I had to steam and bend and fold to get them to sit some what properly. They made something that was inexpensive cheap.
