I LOVE IT! – I wanted something that would make ice without having to do any plumbing work, would be easily movable, and would make ice that would fit in my drink container for work. Regular size ice cubes are too big and this makes bullet ice. The first drop batch or two are thin, but then they thicken up nicely. It shuts off when full, but doesn’t keep the ice long time periods. Remember it’s not a freezer. It also shuts off if it’s out of water. These are both features I like. If I forget it’s on, plus it’s very quiet, I don’t have to worry about what it will do if unattended. I got it on sale, so I didn’t play full price. Another plus in my book. I would have to say I am exremely pleased with this counter top ice maker. It meets all my requirments and more, and fulfills all my needs. Definitely worth the purchase.

UPDATED FROM 1-STAR (PLEASE READ) – Used this icemaker 24-7 for nearly a year until it began leaking water. Took cover off to investigate. Turns out an assembly defect or manufacturing defect. They routed the water hose around the cooling fan for the hot coils. Then the water hose rested on one of the copper hot coils which melted a hole through the tubing. Bought an 1/8″ straight barb splicer fitting and re-joined the tubing and routed it away from the heat coil with some zip ties. All fixed and may now last many more years. Thing is built quality but then they dropped the ball and routed the water tube over the hot coils. Update: 9/2022. The manufacturer reached out to me after the bad rating and offered me $26 refund. They informed me that they reported the design flaw of routing the water hose near the heat coils and that engineering was going to be changing that. They seem to care about their product and will upgrade and improve it if they discover weak points about its design. One thing they could do to really make it great would be to offer a direct connection to pressurized water supply and use the signal that turns on the refill pump to instead or optionally open an electronic valve to a water supply that would automatically keep it filled with water. That would make this thing 100% complete. Works well but refilling it manually every day is the only usage drawback.

Unbelievable Customer Service – I love my ice machine! Although I loved (and still do love) my it, I experienced a bit of a problem shortly after receiving it. Rarely have I ever experienced the amazing customer service as I have with this company! At my first contact with the company, I was treated cordially and with a caring attitude. So much so that I was skeptical that there wouldn’t be any follow up. I was pretty close to stunned when not only was there follow up but follow through as well. The customer service rep, Stella, was beyond wonderful. I not only highly recommend the ice machine but also purchasing from this company.

I don’t care for bottle water and like filter tap water with ice. This has been a little blessing. My husband said what are you buying now. Month later he said that this was a great thing that I bought. Definitely a must have if you don’t have an ice maker on/in your refrigerator. Even helps having ice bags for any medical uses too.
