My First Great Ice Maker – Well, I wanted an ice maker because our fridge ice maker is psycho. It works when it wants to. I searched high and low for the best one. I wanted a stand up style and was considering the GE model because it supposedly made sonic ice. It was also expensive to me. I kept searching and stumbled on to this machine. It makes nuggets ice as well. There were no reviews on this model but I decided to take a chance.

Super easy to use – I absolutely love this product. It was so easy to set up and start using. It took a while for it to start making the ice but one it did it was super quite I forgot I had it going! So glad I bought this!!

Decent – I like this machine, but if you’re looking for an opal this is slightly tougher ice not bad just a little bit different. Not different enough to cough up another $500 for and opal right now. Yes I’ve owned 2 opals both of them first generation. I do suggest getting a filter pitcher or the like if you have ANY minerals in your water. That is what ultimately killed my opals. With that said this is an easy machine to use I do wish it had a side tank added, but it’s not enough hassle for me to balk at it.
