The flawless Empava smooth vitro ceramic glass surface allows for effortless cleanup, manufactured without the release of hazardous metals into the ground and withstands intense heat without cracking or chipping. Approved for installation over any Empava brand 24 in. under-counter single wall ovens. Most stainless steel and cast-iron cookware are induction compatible.
Hot Surface indicator – An “H” will appear in the surface cooking area display let you know when elements are hot to the touch with just a glance. Pan size sensor heats the element to the size of your cookware and turns off when no pan is present for safety and more efficient cooking. With induction cooking, heat is generated directly in the cookware, so the cooktop stays cooler to the touch, with child control lock feature prevents unintended activation for added safety.

Very touchy – A little tricky to install. Didn’t know that this would have to be installed almost 5 in. above my oven but it still does great. Power Boost is an awesome feature. Only downside I’ve encounters is the touch buttons are very sensitive. I like to keep it locked so as not to start a fire but if anything comes in contact with the button it unlocks.

Great product BUT – It seems to be a little warped from one corner to the other. We are hoping for the best that it will eventually lay down flat in its opening. But either way we love this cooktop for our camper.

its fine! No thrills though… – Got it in summer of 2019 its been 1.5 years it is still going strong. But the way it controls temperature is a little odd. Its on or off system. So at full #-9 dial selection the electricity is constant. At #-5 which is 50% it gives the power at 100% for 30 seconds then its off for 30 seconds, and so on. You get the picture.

Is compatable with either natural gas or propane. Conversion kit included. Directions are a bit unorganized but was able to find all info needed. You can pick up a universal gas range connection kit from local hardware store and it will fit. Tools required when I performed install.
