      Good stovetop, But… – I like this item, but all knob turn opposite from the direction of all the stovetop ranges I’ve ever used. Not a big deal but a bit odd

      Great Value However Not As Sturdy As Expected – This cooktop is well packaged and arrived with no problems. Installation was a breeze. I was replacing a 20 year old Windcrest gas cooktop and the prior cooktop easily weighed double what the Empava cooktop weighed. The Empava stainless steel is not as thick and all parts seem more flimsy when compared to the old school all rugged metal cooktop that I was replacing. We will see how it holds up. Perhaps it will surprise me but I would expect to replace this less rugged cooktop in about 5 years. You can tell I am second guessing spending under $400 when I should have spent $1600.

      Beautiful and Works Nicely – Installation is a piece of cake and it looks lovely. I was a bit concerned when I read other reviews that you can’t turn down to low simmer but you can – there are 5 different burners and the left burners turn low. Just take some time and figure out how to use it and you’ll be thrilled with it.

      3 burners won’t stay lit **** Fixed the issue and it was laughable… – This unit was defective and i did not know when i received. i ordered the unit in advance (Feb. 8) and after i finish installing (Apr 20), find out 3 of the burners wont work. my return window already passed and i contacted manufacture for warranty. they want me to send them a video and explanation regards to the issue. now they do not want to honor the warranty, but they are ready to sell me igniters $20 each. the igniters in the unit works fine, because i can see them spark at the each burner. i’m not a expert, but looks like cause of the issue is faulty valves, not getting enough gas to lit the burner.
