      4 Returns Later, Still Not Working – I ordered this oven because the reviews weren’t terrible for a lower priced item. I bought it first from Home Depot. It arrived shattered, so we returned it and ordered again. Second time it arrived — shattered. The 3rd time, I ordered from Amazon. It was missing a part, then once that was resolved and installed, it stopped working after a week. We returned and got a 4th one to replace it. It didn’t even work upon installation. I know sometimes choosing a cheaper item can lead to lower quality results, but this was ridiculous. Worth the money to buy something better.

      Installation issues – I’ve only had it for a day but the oven seems to work well with decent quality for a great price. As others have noted, it came in a standard box vs a shipping box. The box had taken several hits and gashes but the oven seems OK except for a slight ding on the back corner that does not appear to affect functionality and can’t be seen. The manual that came in the box did not have good electrical installation instructions but I poked around on the web to find out what to do. At some point I found another manual at the Empava web site that had excellent instructions. Although it is a new oven it uses the old 3 wire 240 wiring and previous oven was 4 wire. Also note that the oven can’t be installed into the specified size opening once you have connected the wiring since the installed flexible conduit mounts to the oven top and it sticks up higher than the top of the oven. You either have to connect it from the top after it is in place or do your own rewiring such that the conduit exits the back of the oven.

      Great Oven for the price. – This oven was a great value. It has a rostisse feature that is easy to use. The oven heats a bit slowly unless it is on convection setting. The instruction book needs some work to explain each of the functions, but I was able to find a great youtube video to walk me through the steps. Other than that….happy. The oven is beautiful and complements my kitchen. Thank you Empava for making a great product.

      First time owner of an electric stove…. – I like this little 24″ oven. Had to re-wire most of the galley kitchen, tho’, because I’ve only ever had gas. But the oven is attractive and efficient. Haven’t tried the broiler function yet because the drip pan didn’t arrive with the oven; we’re trying to rectify that. My only big complaint is that it, apparently, only comes with one rack. With a tiny oven (tho’ pretty big on the inside, interestingly) like this one, TWO racks are absolutely critical if you are going to get dinner done on time.
