This machine works great and easy to setup – This ice machine was very easy to set up. On the middle level of ice hardness. It will drop ice every 15-18 minutes. I was kinda skeptical on making 100 pounds of ice a day, but if you empty it every 5 hours or so I do believe it will. I bought this unit for the deer lease and so far it is working great. Thinking about buying one for the house now.

Really pleased – Bought this based on other reviews and they weren’t wrong. Easy to set up and as others have stated, this machine will not reuse water to make ice but rather empty itself when the ice melts. I knew this at the time of purchase and it’s no problem as we turn the machine off once we have enough ice and bag and freeze any ice left over to avoid wastage. The fact that any water inside is drained away reduces the risk of contaminated water remaining inside even though I’m paranoid about people washing their hands before they take ice out.
