Excellent Kegerator – This is a great unit and very quiet. Tower from my old Kegerator fit perfectly.

  2. P. P (verified owner)

Exact replacement for my 10 year old failed Edgestar – Slightly updated exterior look. The tower flange from the original unit is slightly smaller than the new opening area and does not 100% hide the bolt holes. Purchased as a replacement for my 10-year-old unit whose compressor threw a rod. Supco 3 in 1 was unable to save it.

Great fridge at a very reasonable price – This is my second Edgestar conversion minifridge. The first was for a kegerator, which I bought about 9 months ago and have nothing but positive things to say about. It works great and I haven’t noticed any difference in my electricity bill.

  4. D. N (verified owner)

Great keg fridge – Setup was easy, my existing tower bolted right up and I like the CO2 hole in the back and tank holder. Perfect for a 5# bottle. Seems to cool well but only had it two days. Way better than trying to convert a dorm fridge.

Perfect solution – OK. We bought a $1500 Kegco kegerator right at 5 yrs ago; it was a really nice rig. However, just before the 5 yr point, it stopped cooling properly. Long story short, I needed to replace it. Wow, $1500 every 5 yrs is a bit on the high side for having a keg frig. Then I discovered this thing. I pulled the tower off the Kegco and kept the CO2 cans and ordered this. The tower fit perfectly. My old gas bottle fits on the back just fine. Now, you’ll need to get yourself a gas line splitter if you’re using a two-tap tower like I am, but that’s not a big problem. It works and it’s WAY cheaper than $1500.

Home pub up and running – pretty much as described. We bought this because we already had all the parts (double tap tower, lines and tubing, C02 cylinder, etc. from an old kegerator we had) This is basically a small fridge with the holes already cut out for the fittings which is very convenient if you are not handy or do not want to fool with doing it yourself. We have one tap hooked up pin and ball locks to use the Corney Kegs for our home brew (these are the old 5 gallon stainless steel tanks the soft drinks companies used to use for fountain drinks before they switched to bags of syrup, and a “D” coupler hooked to the second tap so we can use commercial 5 gallon tanks as well. That way we will always have one of our homebrews, and a store bought beer on tap at all times. The Kegerator will hold two 5 gallon kegs at the same time according to the manufacturer but we have not actually tried it that with two at the same time yet.

Nice kegerator – Needed a new kegerator for under my bar. Found this on Amazon. Arrived safely and well packaged so, no damage. Fits great, no issues.

A good unit for homebrewers – Well, my homemade kegerator I used to keep my homebrew finally gave up the ghost (bad compressor), and after looking at options it was clear that it was more economically feasible to get a new unit rather than try to repair the old one. I was torn between this and two kegerators that had the fittings included…both the EdgeStar model and the Nostalgia. Ultimately I chose this because I already had the tower, lines, and gas canister, plus I didn’t want to give up my Perlick 630.
