Works well. – After breaking our glass cooktop, we were stuck to find a solution while we wait for new one to come in. Hence the purchase. Works well, really saved us. Easy to use with large cooking area. Had to get cast iron pan since can’t use our aluminum nonstick ones.

Perfect for campervan – I needed to have a “permanently installed” cooktop for my bus build, and didn’t want a propane stove mounted inside. This single burner induction stove was the perfect solution. It can be used mounted in the countop or moved to use as a stand alone unit. It can be run off the solar system if you have a big enough inverter. It has a super low profile when installed, Wich makes it easy to cover ( I put an anti skid mat and then a small cutting board on top) so the whole counter can be used when not cooking.

Good unit, but cannot be used with cast iron!?! [Updated May 12, 2022] – I like these units, but this particular one warns not to use with cast iron — the ultimate induction material for cookware. That caused it a 2-star penalty since a cheaper unit from Wal-Mart has been using my cast iron cookware without issues (or warnings) for years.

Love This Induction Stove! – I have a built in gas stove. It’s large and heavy duty and works great for cooking more than one pot at a time. But the grills are heavy and the stove is difficult to clean. So, for daily cooking, and one at a time skillet or pot meals, I use my Duxtop. It is light enough to stow when we have guests and I want it out of the way, and sturdy enough to use with confidence right on our granite counter top, so I can cook quick things up while visiting with our guests. I really love using it with my enameled cast iron cookware, especially for pancakes and grilled cheese. Yesterday I did Pad Thai easily with an easier clean up! Highly recommend!

Will never go back to gas or electric. This is my second induction cooktop, which has 1500watts of power, so it’s slower to heat. Both sit on top of my poorly functioning gas stove.

Worlks well, but too easy to inadvertently push buttons on front. – Installed this in a camper van. Works well. The only thing I hate is that the buttons, placed at the front, are to easy to inadvertently turn on the stove. Do not install anywhere where you might put your hand on the edge of the counter and accidentally touch the edge of the control panel. Placing them on the side, or back would be a better (safer) layout.
