Exterior- great, but, inside is not so much – To start, was super excited to make this purchase & even more when it arrived quickly! It was a “averaging by myself 16lbs weekly with store bought ice” to eventually see a return passing off. As an investment. Started off good… until any 10 8lb bags bought separately.. later . The inside no matter how many drains and rinses now-if it’s not immediately done but refilled water reservoir bottom gets layered with pretty hard,black charcoal specs(appearing as but don’t quote that as I’m not sure what it is just not mold for sure). This get filled on the bottom of a full reservoir has been replaced with ice, ice being removed each basket. So to find this out after the purchase…. And the excitement, the work it takes making it lease convenient from every single water cycle getting rinsed after the drain plug has been pulled. And repeat, every.. single.. fill up of water to ice. It’s now exhausting more than anything.
