      Good but… – Installation instructions are very vague. I had to find another way to attach the inner cover. Other than that, it works fine and looks amazing.

      Elegant and well made, but came with cosmetic defect. – There was a cosmetic problem with this product – the stainless steel chimney cover had a defect under protective film when I received it. I did contact the manufacturer for replacement and Andrew from Cosmo arranged shipment of the part. It took a week but I got the part. I installed the hood and I can say that I like the design of this hood very much – it’s modern and minimalistic. The control knobs are straight forward and convenient. The one thing I’ve learned from my previous fancy Italian-made hood, that the controls must be as simple as possible and away from the direct heat, so I opted for traditional knobs instead of a touch screen. (My previous hood had a plastic switch that had deformed from heat and stopped working.)

      Good value range hood – Simple to install (hangs on an included hanger and plugs into an outlet that you can conceal inside the chimney), looks good and I like the filters more than the conventional mesh designs. Worth noting that it has six inch ductwork, I couldn’t find that dimension which was the only holdup on installation.
