Great ductless range hood option – Bought this to replace another range hood that only had a 58CFM motor, so this one has a more powerful motor. I needed a ductless version to go under the cabinets and this was a good option as it has vents on the front. I’ve seen other options that have vents on the top which makes no sense since it’s covered by the cabinets above. Installation was pretty easy, just need to drill 4 screws in each corner into the cabinets above and then just plug in the power. The suction power isn’t great but it’s good enough for a ductless range hood. If you want one with really powerful suction, ducted is the way to go.

It’s pretty – Noise level is decent, not too loud, doesn’t seem to have the suction that my old one did. The led lights are a nice touch, but I wish they were brighter. Love the reuseable double filter elements on the bottom.

Easy to install and attractive – It was very easy to install and looks great. The lights are bright white and a little too bright for my taste. Would like to have a softer color spectrum on them, which is the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars. Very good unit for the price.

Good value, nice looking, sleek and slim. – After searching all the big box stores for a 30 inch hood to replace my old outdated almond colored hood, I found this on Amazon. I needed a ductless model and liked the fact that the lights were in the front. I did not need to light the rear wall. It was not an easy install since the underside of my cabinet was not flush. Took some creativity and required two people to hold it up when mounting. I was paranoid about denting or scratching it during the install. Also, the blue covering was a challenge to remove it is wrapped around every angle. But it looks great. I’m a happy customer.

Mediocre Suction, Looks fine. – Super pain to remove the protective film. Have to disassemble the light bar and lights to get it all off! Suction is mediocre at best used as a recirculating fan (can’t even keep a kleenex against the screens!!!), but that gives it a quiet noise level. Not sure it comes anywhere close to it’s advertised 250cfm. I liked the extended flat section as my cabinet sticks out more than the normal 12 inches. Stylish enough to look good in the kitchen with other stainless appliances. Good price for an inexpensive unit. The metal is thin (very thin) and it is definitely not fingerprint resistant /proof. Pretty easy to install if you place the front screws in place at the front of the hood then use them to hold it up and position the rear screws. As stated in another review, the screws are waaay too long for a 5/8 or 3/4 cabinet bottom thickness. Basically, for me it’s a stopgap that will do until I can spend the $$ to custom route an external duct and upgrade to a fan with effective suction power.

Make sure to get a steel backsplash if changing out a microwave for this. – My family’s decade-old over-range microwave broke suddenly, which required us to get a replacement range hood or another microwave. After researching our options, we decided on this which looked the best for the price. The lighting is impressive compared to our old microwave but it was a bit of a pain to remove the blue plastic around the lights as it required snapping out the lights with some force. Since we were replacing a microwave, it would have left the bare wall behind it exposed, so we ordered a stainless steel backsplash to cover that area prior to installing the hood over it so it all looks pro. Definitely looks like we spent a bit more.

EASY TO INSTALL and use – nice and easy hood. very light-weight and only took a few minutes to install. I also appreciate that they are willing to send the charcoal filters if you are using the recirculating air instead of venting.
