Powerful CFM , Restaurant quality for the price – Had this range hood for a few weeks and it works great really pulls in all smoke and odors, noise a little high, it has a blower type motor no cheap fans to worry about, needed to raise my the cabinet due to low hanging, note exhaust opening is 6″ went to home Depot & got 6″ to 4″ duckwork reducer for $7 made connection to exhust very easy.

Great replacement hood – Purchased this to replace a 40+ year old stove hood that came with the house. It was junk. So I was looking to upgrade the sucking power of the motor to pull out smells in the house post cooking.

REALLY SATISFIED. EFFECTIVE VENT INSIDE A HOME – This is probably bigger than we needed for a fairly small galley kitchen but I hate those small wimpy hood vents that don’t extend far enough out to cover the front burners on a stove. Because we have cabinets over the vent hood, the hood also sets a couple inches lower than expected. If we were more than average height (say 6’ tall or more) that would be a problem with line of sight seeing pots on the back burner. So, I suggest making sure of the dimensions for your space. If we remodel the kitchen, I’m thinking we will remove those cabinets or put in shorter ones so we can raise the hood. We do not have a vent tube to outside so we purchased the charcoal filters to use in conjunction with the washable filters as the air must circulate inside. Our old unit was hardwired not just a plug in. My husband knew how to install a plug in into the back wall of the overhead cabinet. So the unit is plugged in (more convenient than hardwired if you ever need to remove the unit for service, replacement etc) and the plug is hidden behind the cabinet doors. This vent is very heavy and I feel requires 2 strong people to maneuver it into place and get it properly attached by screws into studs in the wall. I was not great help to my husband. Not really strong enough or tall enough. We installed it with the stove moved out of the way. Would have been impossible with the stove in place as you need to get completely under the hood to firmly attach it to the wall. So, yes we did install this ourselves BUT it was difficult and took a long time with our age and bad backs etc. And you may need an electrician to move wiring, install a plug etc depending on what you already have or want to change.

Great fit for anyone. – I bought two range hood . One azmchef and other is this one and i was surprised by the price and the performance.

Better than expected – The 350 cfm is better than I expected for such a low price. Comes with a mounting template if needed and pretty easy to install. The quality seems to be pretty good. I really like that the 2 LED lights are somewhat angled back. On high speed the fan is somewhat noisy but not to bad, you can still hear a conversation and it is an exhaust fan after all. As for the push button fan speed switches, they work fine. They just feel some what cheap compared to the rest of the unit. Over all I would definitely buy again. Works Great.

Too big – If you are replacing an over the range microwave this will be too huge. Sits down to far and comes out to my nose (6′ tall man). I would say if I could move the upper cabinet 6-8 inches higher it would have worked.
