Works perfect – I have a Broan range hood which was bought by previous owner of my house (may be 15 years old already). It used to work but with big noise. A few weeks ago, this range hood stopped working with humming or cracking sound. The fan is not moving. I took out the old blower two times to try to fix it, but failed. I guess either the motor had a problem or the axis might bend somehow so that fan touched the shell of housing. So I decided to replace with a new blower. The model number of old blower is EP45RTC, but I could not find the exact same one online. This one (Broan-Nutone Sv08097 Ep45 660Cfm Blower) is the closest one. So I gave a bet by placing the order. When it arrives, the blower looks shining and new. I removed the old broken one and replaced with this one. It works like a charm. The blower make much lighter sound. The price is not cheap but it fit my existing range hood. I don’t need to perform large amount of duct or mounting work.
