Bulbs impossible to install! – We ordered this size 24” so we could install an oven hood non-ducted option. Install and all was fine but it doesn’t come with lightbulbs and getting the light bulbs in was super difficult. We finally realized the only way to get the lightbulbs in was to purchase a tiny suction cup to hold the bulb to get it in. It’s impossible to get the bulbs in using just your hand. I love the final look in our kitchen but the bulbs took us so long to get in what a frustrating thing.

Best Ductless Rang Hood You Can Buy – First, the executive summary: If you need a 24 in. ductless rang hood, this is it. Buy it. Don’t spend your time and money with any cheap model. Because it is ductless, you need to best fan you can get.

Super expensive charcoal filters – why so much $$$$? – This fan does not work very well. Plus the charcoal filters are $41 an you are supposed to change them every 6 months! That’s crazy expensive. They shouldn’t sell this as a non-ducted option and encourage people to use ones that are designed to be only non-ducted – the filters for the non-ducted only models are $18. I thought I’d get the “nicer” model but was told by a Broan customer service agent that the non-ducted ones are going to all work the same. I wish I could return it but that doesn’t look like an option. I’d like to exchange it for one that works the same but isn’t $41 every s months to maintain!
