Best dishwasher we’ve ever owned – The Ascenta replaced a GE dishwasher we had for more than fifteen years. The Ascenta is quieter, more energy efficient, and far better at cleaning dishes. We needed to modify the way we loaded the dishwasher, but once we did we found it far exceeded our expectations.

There’s no way to tell if the dishwasher is running or finished – If anyone else doesn’t know that you started the dishwasher, they’re liable to open the door and stop the cycle. There is no way to tell if the dishwasher is running due to the top mounted display under the counter and no light at the base (called “InfoLight” in other models).

As advertised – Just install a week ago and so far it’s very it was advertised to – cleans incredibly well, and very quite, has a long run time but that’s not an issue for us as we have installed at our ski house and we turned on at night before we go to bed. It so quite that I had to open to make sure it’s was on, so far we are very pleased, we read RCN the machine on CR and they rated it as one of the best machines and value, it was because of their rating that we went with this machine

constantly will not start – i dont know what this things problem is but it fails to start 8 out of 10 times. yes i have done it just as the manual asks. now i just throw the breaker , wait a few mins turn the breaker back on. power on, power off, power on then select my cycle and close the door. yes i am well aware of these steps
