Good machine drying can be better – The machine does a great job cleaning. It’s quite and easy to install. Not a fan of how long the cycles are but I bought knowing that. What I didn’t know is the fact that the crystal drying feature is not compatible with the shortest washing cycle which is over an hour anyway. I must say, the description, reviews and Bosch’s claims that this 800 series is best-in class when it comes to drying, seem like false advertising to me as it is sub parr especially for the $$. All washers I used before including my last $700 Samsung they all dried the dishes and the inside of the machine much faster after the wash, like 10 min drying with automatic door opening feature which will cause the dishes and the door/walls to all dry well. My new 800 series keeps water on the door and walls after the wash causing a musty smell. It takes longer to dry the items loaded but they end up drying well. Not sure why the door and walls stay wet when items dry well.

Bosch service is very poor – My dishwasher stopped working 7 months after I bought it. It took two weeks for a technician to come out, he told me it was fixed but it was not. I had to wait another two weeks for him to return. I now have to wait another two weeks for a replacement part. Six weeks without a dishwasher is disappointing. I ordered Bosch because I thought they were top of line with an excellent reputation. I am very disappointed and will not purchase another Bosch product.

Almost great… – Great place I bought it from, the delivery crew was fab, the installer I got was fab. It’s a beautiful machine but some of the spacing seems more European than American. Hard to fit in big coffee cups, tall wine glasses…but it does a beautiful job on the dishes…and it is totally quiet.

Super clean and shiny dishes – The third rack is perfect for plastic lids, most cooking utensils, and smaller items. As with all Bosch dishwashers it is super quiet. You need to put your ear next to the door to know it is running. I have been using this for nearly two months. It has dozens of options, most of what I do not normally need or use, but it is clear that whatever I might need it is there if I want. The stainless steel door needs very little to keep it clean and shiny. Simply polish with a towel. The handle position is perfect for keeping the front clean.

Bosch 800 Series Quietly Does it’s Job – I finally replaced a 10 year old Kenmore dishwasher that we had been limping along for 5 years with zip ties. The 800 series Bosch was easy to install and is the quietest dishwasher I have ever experienced. Inside delivery was great as expected from Electronic express. One of the best features is the food trap. Just twist a knob, pull it out and reverse rinse it out. Sure beats disassembling the dishwasher to clean out the trap or the pump filter. Genius.
