The temperature control is not inside ..its at the back. – I just received this product. In the description the temperature control was said to be inside the unit. But it’s not. Its at the back of the unit which makes no sense because if the unit is placed in a cabinet space you have to move the unit when you want to change temperature settings. Also there is not temperature range settings..it just goes from red to white..so you don’t know what temperature is set. Also I am trying to reverse the door and the top hinge cover is hard to remove without breaking the tabs off. I will keep it and see how it works and update my review.

Very Sleek and stylish design – This was a gift for my wife for Christmas. I ordered it in November 2021. once it arrived, early, I hid it until Christmas Day. upon unpacking it, she noticed it arrived damaged. Needless to say, it kinda bumbed me out as I didn’t think of checking out the unit before hiding it. I was more concerned in surprising her. I called Customer Service at AMAZON, mind you, it was Christmas day just pass Midnight, and the representative who handled my call was very kind and sympathetic. he processed the exchange without issue. It did take a few extra weeks to arrive but in the end, all was well. the wine cooler is small but big enough with a sleek and stylish design. it was well received.

The temperature control is not inside ..its at the back. – I just received this product. In the description the temperature control was said to be inside the unit. But it’s not. Its at the back of the unit which makes no sense because if the unit is placed in a cabinet space you have to move the unit when you want to change temperature settings. Getting 14 bottles in cooler depends on size of bottle. – The size of your bottles will effect how many bottles you can get in. First off , to get bottles to sit correctly in the top rack you need to drop it down to second rack support. The 14 bottle cooler has a metal plate in the back that is bent over towards the front of the cooler. If the top rack is too high then the bottles will hit the edge of the plate and not be able to seat fully back and allowing the door to close.

Not really 26 bottles but a good buy, will scratch wood floors. – The cooler was well packaged and box lifts straight up for removal by cutting the shipping straps. I went for the 26 bottle capacity, but as my picture shows there are five racks of four bottles each, so 20 bottles stowed properly, and maybe you can cram six more in the bottom compartment that must share space with the compressor housing, so the bottles must be perpendicular. I used the wooden racks from my prior broken cooler, as the steel racks that come with this unit scrape the top of the bottles; they do not provide sufficient room for a standard wine bottle. My second picture shows the mounting feet, or lack thereof. The front has leveling legs, but the rear sits on a sharp metal rail that has no adjustment, and worse yet, scratches my wooden flooring. It was a simple matter of attaching felt furniture sliders to this metal rail as pictured to prevent floor damage, but why not provide this cheap solution at the factory? I like the continuous thermostat that has markings for white or red, and the blue LED lighting. I expect the standard compressor technology and B&D brand to last longer than my prior five year no-name wine cooler.

Loud & the controls are not easily accessible – This little thing is LOUD. So loud, in fact, that anyone who has come into the room where it is located has mentioned it. It’s not just the hum of the motor running, either, there is a grumbling sound as it cools and this slamming sound when it stops cooling.

As expected – Setup was quick and easy. Just two leveling “feet” in the front, remove tape from the racks, plug it in, set the temp and it’s ready to go. It did arrive with a couple of very small dents at the top of the door and at the top of the fridge, but my husband and I discussed and decided not to send the fridge back. The dents don’t interfere with the operation and the fridge began cooling immediately. It would have been lots more trouble to send it back and receive another one.
