      Bad thermal switch? – I have the same exact problem with this leaf blower as another reviewer did. Here’s what was said:

      Does the job – Nice & light I need a 2nd battery as life about 20 minutes but read this in reviews. The 40v model was too heavy for me

      It works OK. – I have to run it on “boost” speed to get stuff to move. Battery life on “boost” is short. When the battery gives out it will be warm to the touch. It will also NOT take a charge until the battery cools down and that takes a few minutes. After cooling down the battery will charge eventually.

      GREAT Tool for homeowners, but not good for commercial use – This is a great easy to use leaf blower. Powerful enough to cleanup after cutting the lawn and some. It came with a 2.0hr battery compared to my collection of 1.5 and it gives it just that much more time to finish up the cleanup. The only drawback is that it dies after about 9-10mins of use so if you have a large lawn, or use for commercial make sure to have extra batteries!
