It has stop working – The battery no longer TAKES the charge. Since it is a pack in the base I cannot replace. Same goes for charger.

Easy on the back. – This a “vacuum” that doesn’t require great physical strength. Great to use. Lot of assembly to do, but taking a slow, cautious effort, it gets together and ready to work. Easy to remove and empty dirt basket, which ia a plus. Oh, yes, it comes with an extra roller (don’t panic, it’s easy to intstall.)

Intolerable weird noise – This is a powerful little sweeper with a quiet motor until you move from bare floor to rugs. Then it becomes the machine from hell. The noise it makes is indescribable, like something is about to seriously go wrong and break. This sound will make your teeth hurt. Happens on flat weave rugs as well as thicker ones. I have had this sweeper for one day and it is going back. Big disappointment.

I wouldn’t recommend – I own a commercial cleaning company. I purchased these for our smaller office spaces with small desk rugs. It catches corners of rugs so easily and makes you shut it off because the roller is disrupted moving from one rug to the next (these rugs are very flat to the floor with hardly any fibers). The roller breaks to easily as well. It’s lack of ability to pick up becomes time consuming running over the trash over and over again to get it to pick up or you just end up picking up by hand. The handle breaks as well after maybe 10 uses and you end up pushing broken sharp plastic stick left behind. I would not recommend for even a house hold use because the rugs are more than likely to thick if it acts this way on thin commercial type rugs.

I liked it so much at work, I bought one for the house. – Ok, let’s be clear: If you use carefully and are not abusive, these will last you a couple of years before they wear out. For home use, they could possibly last a lot longer, unless your kids are playing with them. I worked in a VERY large restaurant, and we cleaned the entire place twice a day with these and almost never had to use actual vacuum cleaners, they worked so well. The only weakness is in the arm itself. It WILL break, so quit yanking it around. The primary weakness is just below the circular grip at the top. Once it breaks, you can still use it, its just less convenient since the arm is now a lot shorter. Also, please clean the trash out after each use, or it will get gunked up. Even then, though, it’s not hard to wash out in the sink. The beater bar is quite simple to remove and clean, but be careful putting it back in, or the plastic locking mechanism will break. I know I’m making it sound like this is a fragile machine, and it’s NOT. I’m just saying that if you’re using it constantly, and it’s being operated by busboys who don’t care, it has these weaknesses and won’t last forever.

Should have on/off button on handle. Not foot-pedal – Don’t like foot pedal. should have button to turn on/off
