Bulky and pricy – This takes up a lot of space in the freezer and it pretty darn bulky for making 2 ice cubes. I have the bartesian machine and was excited to make some craft ice cubes. This does somehow make them more clear than my silicone ice cube tray, but not enough to make it worth the price and extra space required. Also, because of the insulation, it takes 24-48 hours for them to actually freeze and make the ice cubes. So this has to be a commitment thought out ahead of time. Overall, this does what it is supposed to do, but not for the best price or convenience.

easy large cubes – It was pretty simple to make large ice cubes with this device. You basically fill it with water and then make sure it is level and freeze it. The silicon mold came out without much effort after they were frozen and the cubes turned out nicely. It will take quite a bit of space in your freezer, so best if you have a chest freezer. Also you will lose about as much water if not more to waste, unless you somehow use the giant block of ice leftover from the process.

Clear Large ice – I love that this thing makes cute bartesian photo ready ice cubes. What I don’t like is the space it takes up in my freezer. I have tried the regular ice molds, and they’re ok, but this is the best at keeping the shape and the ice really is clear… perfect circles… but I’ll stick to my nugget ice maker for daily use.

Super easy to use, near perfect ice balls – TL;DR: This is hands down the best ball Ice maker I have ever used. I have used multiple tray style ice makers which are difficult to fill and once frozen, they are deformed and foggy. This ice maker is extremely easy to use both on filling and taking out the ice when done. If you like larger clear Ice balls for your evening cocktail, this is a must have!
