      Works well – This products works well. I have not done heavy frying or canning yet, but so far it does seem to keep the smoke, steam, or heat out of my kitchen area more than before I had it.

      Plugs into an OUTLET – It’s beautiful and the correct size for what we need, but just be aware that it’s powered through a 3-prong plug so you’ll need to have a little outlet installed above your stove for this to work. So, it’s easier to hook up than a hard wired version, but installing an outlet for it was one extra unanticipated step.

On a positive note, they are easy to replace but the ones you’d replace them with are not likely to last either. I cannot find a link anywhere on the listing to contact the seller for replacement lights so I may have to solder up a set myself. Thy are easy to take apart and there is a little round PCB with nine LEDs in it. They must be wired in parallel because mine didn’t go out all at once, it started getting dim, then went completely out a few days later. I suspect they use low-quality LEDs in it. If I cannot find pop-in replacements, then I’ll have to wire up a set of LEDs for it myself.
