Good product with Excellent customer service – I had an issue with the motor initially but the customer service was really good. They helped me throughout the process. They replaced it and this second one is working perfectly fine!

Over priced for quality – Two of the four buttons don’t turn on and off easily. It is digital and you have to push in just the right spot with a lot of pressure. Called to try to get help and was on hold being pushed from one dept. to another for two hours. Then they didn’t call back the next day with a set appointment time. But ended up calling back two and three days later in the middle of my work meetings. Ended up just keeping it up and dealing with the frustration of it not working properly. This product is very over priced for the poor quality and even poorer customer service. Look at another brand.

Only have one major complaint and one minor one – This unit looks nice and works well. It is fairly easy to install but the instructions were a little weak. My biggest complaint is the flexible mylar duct. I highly suggest you buy yourself an aluminum flexible duct and use it instead. The mylar duct works fine but when the unit is turned off, it makes this silly crinkling sound as the pressure drops. it should have warned me to locate the screws and nuts that connect the upper and lower corner braces together high enough that the blower assembly doesn’t hit into them. There is now clear way to run the power cord up above the unit – I squeezed it between the opening and the flex duct.

I was debating between a few of these and picked this one due to its high CFM, affordable price, modern look and functionalities. This JOEAONZ Island Mount Range Hood is 36 inches across and pretty much cover their whole gas range, which means it would provide better smoke suction area, and won’t let it escape out into their livingroom/familyroom. Our uncle is a contractor so we asked him to help us with the installation, which took about 2 hours total since he needed to reenforced the studs in the attic before actually mounted this new range hood on. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, all the accessories needed for the installations were included (the brackets, mounting hardware, screws/nuts, etc…)
