So far, so good! – I cleaned it before use and the first BAG of ice I made was clear and beautiful. That’s a lot of ice. Tastes like nothing. Ice made from my tap water in an ice cube tray is full of weird “floaties.” I’m seeing a few “floaties” today. I’m going to try cleaning the whole thing again and see if the floaties go away again. But, also, ICE! Constant ICE! Thrilled with just having almost instantaneous ice:) Worth it, for absolutely sure.
