What you see is what you get — it’s nice – This is a simple, easy to use hood, with bright underneath lightening and several fan level settings with the push of buttons. It’s both pretty and sturdy, just as shown, and was easy to install.

No instructions as to how to set the time on digital clock… can’t figure it out. help!!!! – Very poor instructions

Nice unit but it has a minor issue.. – Nice range hood and has excellent exhaust power. Mounting was an issue however. The mounting holes for the under cabinet are not spaced well for 12” deep cabinets. The front mounting holes need to be moved towards the back about an inch in order for the installation to go seamless. The way they are set up, with the range hood pushed back against the wall, on a normal 12” cabinet the screws would come up in or very close to the front framing wood. Fortunately I had about a quarter inch offset from the wall with my cabinet installation which allowed me to keep the hardware out of the hardwood. I opted to use bolts and wing nuts with washers for my installation instead of the cheap intrusive and sharp screws and anchors provided with the hood. It took a little extra work but I’m pleased with the added strength it added to the install. Also the instructions provided with the unit are pretty minimal. Still I’m pleased with the unit overall.

loud – I like the design it appears to be well made. If you are replacing an older unit that’s hard-wired this comes with a wire with a standard 120-volt plug end. The suction is good but it is a bit loud, overall I like it.

Works for me – This range hood has a sleek design and I really like the rounded corners. Installation was not too difficult but with every retrofitted install, I had to make some modifications to the cabinets. It took 2 people to lift, center and brace the unit for installation. I used 2 soft-covered 2x4s wedged between the stove and the underside of the hood (one on each side) to hold the hood in place while marking/drilling/screwing into the underside of the cabinet. We opted for bolts for the front holes as our cabinet frame was not adequate to hold a screw. The strength of the suction power on high is a bit underwhelming, but for the cooking I do it is adequate enough. I’m not sure when you would ever use the low setting; it barely moves air. If you do a lot of high heat cooking or oil frying, this hood may not work for you. The lights are nice and bright. I really like the fact that we can buy replacement bulbs without having to go through the company. All in all, I am happy with it. It didn’t break the bank and it’s an improvement from the nonfunctional one I had to replace.

Strong suction, bright lights, easy to clean – It is definitely a two-man installation job, but well worth. Level one and two are quite similar in suction strength. The lights illuminate the entire stove, which helps a lot when you want to see whats cooking.
